Lake Mead Give Day is our spring ministry-wide fundraiser, held each May. It’s a digital crowdfunding campaign that allows supporters to give directly to the area of ministry they’re most passionate about—whether it’s academics, athletics, the arts, or spiritual life. We also encourage donors to share the campaign with friends and family to help us expand our reach.
How many fundraisers does LMCM have each year?
Lake Mead Christian Ministries is committed to only two ministry-wide fundraisers per year - The Eagle Games in the fall, and Lake Mead Give Day in the spring. These are both opportunities for our community to support LMCM strictly through donations, with all of the proceeds benefiting our mission.
What if I already made a gift to LMCM this year?
If you have already made a donation this year, thank you for helping us get this far! If you are able, we encourage you to make an additional donation of any size on Lake Mead Give Day — make a statement that we are one impactful community!
Are donations to LMCM tax-deductible?
Yes. Lake Mead Christian Ministries is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and gifts are fully tax-deductible as allowed by law. Please consult your tax advisor for details.
Why doesn’t LMCM do product-based fundraisers like selling candy or gift wrap?
We’ve chosen not to ask our families to sell items for fundraising. These types of fundraisers often result in high overhead costs—up to 75%—leaving only a small portion for our programs. By focusing on direct donations, we’re able to keep over 90% of what is raised, ensuring your gifts have a real and lasting impact.
Can I send a gift by mail or phone?
Yes - If you would like to make a gift by phone on May 9, please call the Finance Office at 702-565-5831. If you would like to mail a check, please make the check payable to LMCM and mail it to LMCM, Finance Office, 540 E. Lake Mead Parkway, Henderson, NV 89011.
